SHADOW CREEK (1) drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 14 metres into seventh at Rangiora over 1 ¼mb when sent out as the favourite. No excuses from this more advantageous draw. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. FLYAWAY (9) finished fifth last start, beaten 3 metres at Motukarara Raceway over 1 ¼m. Capable of playing a major role so has to be respected. COURAGE REACTOR (6) is the next best after finishing runner-up over 1 ¼m at Rangiora last time out. ANYTIME AT ALL (3) gets every chance from a favourable draw and can finish in the money.
