LIPSTICK (1) drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 20 metres into seventh at Ashburton Raceway over 1 ½m. Has the benefit of a far better draw. Meets a similar field and she can finish a lot closer this time. KINGAROY (3) is on the radar after his last-start fourth over 1 ½m at Ashburton Raceway a week ago. AVEROSS MAJESTY (8) is the best of the rest after finishing fourth over 1m at Central Southland Raceway last time out.
