Verdict

Good race, and it'll be interesting to see the resuming MR BLUNT (4) who is unbeaten in two starts, both at Ballarat Synthetic. Backed into $1.24 on debut, he promptly scored by 9 lengths, then far too good again at $1.10 next time in a BM64, winning by 4 lengths. Onto turf here is an unknown but he's otherwise impossible to knock. BOHEMIAN ANGEL (12) broke through for a smart win last time at Pakenham in a strong 0-62. She stays on 125lbs and draws for a nice trailing run. ETERNAL (11) was well backed fresh here and was okay in a bunched finish. Expect she improves off that having shown good ability last time in. SPARKLING LUCK (10) broke his maiden nicely last time and can go on with it.
