Verdict

The upside of SANTANA (9) appeals. He's a lightly raced gelding who just found one better first up here, working home well behind the handy Melian to grab second. Fancy he'll get further than 6f in time but he'll be fitter and take a power of holding out. TEN WARRIORS (5) just cannot find the post first, again placing last time at Sandown Hillside, his 10th minor placing in 14 starts. He'd be just about a sure thing in a country maiden but has winning claims again here. LADY LONSDALE (12) didn't quite fire in two runs last time in but has ability and can do better this time around. DAMA ROYALE (11) has placed in all four runs to date and should be right there again, wary of NAR NAR GOON (2) into his second campaign.
