PURE 'N' SIMPLE (10) peaks and has been racing in much stronger class at Ascot. Stepped up to this distance the latest. Maps well and has the numbers to win in this grade. SAUCISSON (1) returns to his home track after a near-miss in an Ascot Maiden. Just missed there prior and can make the finish with average luck from the awkward gate. BAMBUN GIRL (4) peaks and was much better last time beaten 2L at Geraldton. Finally draws a low gate and has to be considered. DAKINED (2) also presents fourth up and has been freshened off three runs at the provincials. Has the blinkers on for the first time and should be around the mark.
