Competitive. QUICK COOKIE (3) placed at Bunbury and then Belmont before leading at Belmont over a bit shorter, where she folded up late. Won't know herself in country grade and will be tough to beat. SHEEZA SHEILA (7) was well held last time at Ascot over 1 ?m but is going well enough generally to be considered at this level. Peaks and the blinkers go on for the first time. POLYVANOVA (1) has switched yards since finishing third three weeks ago over 1 ?m at Mt Barker. Kept up to the mark with a recent placing in a Lark Hill trial and is well placed with the 7lbs claim. She's also a chance. SKY RIVER (2) found the grade a bit rich at Scarpside but the Geraldton form leading into that stacks up for this. He's going to be tougher to beat today.
