Had to work hard early from the gate and put up the white flag early in the straight with a tiring ninth over 7 ¾f at Canterbury. Proven at the trip and no shock to see him find winning form on an improving surface. DUBAI WARRIOR (1) progressive gelding close to his top for this. Blinkers go on today after catching the eye late when third to Satono Jasmine over 1m at Hawkesbury. That form has since been franked and shapes as the main danger. INCEPTION (5) mixing his form and assess on the narrow second two-back over the mile. No match for Arapawa with a fading fourth over 7f at Scone. Worth noting Arapawa won a solid contest at Rosehill on Saturday. Respect. BOMBELLEISTIC (4) improved sharply in weaker company with a comfortable victory over 1 ¹/16m at Canberra Acton.
