Verdict

SARDAR (4) did a fair job on debut last time out when he was strong through the line to run a close-up third over 6f at Newcastle. Gets a similar setup again and the extra ½f suits. Top-three contender. CONCRETE STORM (6) resumes and gelded over the break. Kept safe in betting on debut from the outside gate with a battling ninth over 1½f at Canterbury. Much better effort from the inside gate with a narrow fourth over 1½f at Gosford last March. Primed with the two trials and can get the better of these first-up. I'M RELEVANT (7) two career runs have been okay and will give them something to catch today. Was prominent at the corner when he held on well to finish third over 6f at Newcastle. Leading player. DASHING TRIPLE (1) two career starts have been solid and doesn't have to improve much to win this. Slow into stride and circled the field where he tried to pinch it in the straight, before tiring to finish second over 6 ½f at this track. Respect.
