DON'S PARTY (1) made good improvement in his first prep and resumes from a lengthy spell. Placed twice at Kembla last time in and looks to have come back in good order judging by the two sharp trials. Kicks off in a winnable contest. CLASSIC TWO (3) struggled of late on the heavy tracks. Outclassed by Satono Jasmine two-back, then dropped out quickly when ninth over 1m at Taree. Back to his preferred trip and did place at Hawkesbury five back. Each way. KUWAIT (5) is finding the breakthrough win elusive. Gripped on late two-back in the heavy going with a respectable third over 6f at Gosford.
