RACHINI (9) was only beaten 3.4L in the Magic Millions Debutant Stakes at Caulfield on debut and will be better for the first-up outing in the G2 Reisling Stakes at Randwick. She'd switched to the Baker yard and had come off two big Rosehill trial wins. Plenty of scope for improvement, and the Zoustar filly is well placed to break through. PROMENADE (8) resumed at Warwick Farm over shorter and looked a run short. Had come off an easy Randwick trial win and should appreciate the longer sprint. Will position forward from the handy gate. UNIVERSE (4) had no luck at Canterbury on debut. He's certain to appreciate the step-up in distance. Kerrin McEvoy replaces JMac. He rides JAPAN (5), who didn't do a lot on debut. He should be more competitive today.
