PATTERA (6) turned things around last start and landed the prize over 5f at Mendooran. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. ZAIBATSU (12) returns from a spell of five months and did win first-up last time in work over 4f at Narromine. Solid chance. ENCHAANTED (8) last appeared 47 days ago over 5 ½f at Gatton when she finished sixth. This is her first run for the David J Smith stable and if she can recapture her best form she's a big hope. RACE TO ARMS (2) never got going last prep after making a promising start in his debut campaign. Hasn't been sighted at any lead-up work but if there's market support he must be taken seriously.
