PENCILLER (11) handy gelding resuming. Expected to get off the mark quickly this prep after going under narrowly at his last three outings. Back without a trial and will appreciate Neale's claim. Top-three contender. HABIB ALBI (7) came in for late support on debut with a poor last over 5f at Hawkesbury. Kept fresh for this from the good draw and no shock to see him close strongly. AIZUCHI (6) three-year-old gelding by Grunt from Hachi Oki on debut for the Allison Smith yard. Has shown ability in the last two trials and gets his chance from the low barrier.
