BRUTAL LOVE (2) had been building towards a second win and it came last start in a Class 1 over 6f at Dubbo. Dug deep that day in a run that suggests another furlong won't bother him. Drawn perfectly so happy to stick. COMONGIN (1) made it six top three finishes from as many career runs when she boxed on evenly to finish second over 6f at Coonabarabran last time out. Yet to race beyond six furlongs but Brett Robb has done a great job placing this gelding so trust he has pulled the right rein. KIRK (8) is racing well but tackling a better field this time. Worth including in exotics from a nice gate down in the weights. TURBULENT (5) isn't flattering but should appreciate this step up in distance at the fourth run back from a spell.
