Verdict

ARGYLE SPRINGS (4) was an eye-catcher at Dubbo first-up when closing off strongly into fifth after turning a long way off them. Is sure to have come on from that and is drawn much kinder this time. Can break through this time. DON'T SAY DO (7) returns for the Northam camp. Mixed her form last campaign but boasts peaks that measure up nicely. Has been readied with a close Muswellbrook trial placing and is well placed to make a bold return. SMOKIN' GENIE (13) failed to fire a shot last time at Bathurst but had shown encouraging signs prior. Nearing peak fitness now and is worth another chance with Gallagher taking over. COOL NANCZYE (5) returns and looks best of the rest.
