Verdict

TANGLEWOOD JIMMY (8) lacks early speed but possesses a powerful turn of foot on his day. Every chance he lands in a sticky spot from the low draw but if the gap appears he will prove tough to hold out. Can't knock the form of ALL STAR (7) who shoots for the hat-trick. This is obviously tougher but her gets 3kgs off after dominating a CL1 at Kembla. Boudvillain goes again. HEREWARD (3) has mixed his form this prep but has peaks that stack up and loves this trip. Roper sticks with the 3lbs claim to make things that bit sweeter. CHARLEROI (6) only warmed late when resuming in the slop on the Kenso. Better for that and will relish the rise to the mile. Up to this. HE'S GOT GRUNT (10) made the perfect return at Hawkesbury and deserves following up with Schiller sticking.
