HORSESHOE HILL (8) is a talented mare back from a 172-day spell. Finished just 2.5 lengths behind Beadman first-up in the Listed Fireball last prep. Bjorn Baker has found a softer race to launch this campaign. Has her share of weight but has the class to dispose of this field. VALILEE (7) led but found one better when fresh from a 45-day let-up over 4 ½f at Newcastle last time out. Strips fitter and performs best over 5f, with two wins from four attempts. Sure to take some catching. SPARTUS (1) tackled a $150k BM100 here at this trip recently and wasn't beaten all that far. Nicely in after Grima's claim in this far more suitable assignment. BRUCE I AM (11) didn't show his customary speed but closed well to grab second when resuming over 5 ½f here last start. Lightly raced gelding who scored at his only other 5f run. Honest mare CONFIDENTIALITY (10) should be there at business end at her first run back from a five-month lay-off.
