Verdict

Open race to close out the card. SHINING PROISIR (10) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 6 ¾f at Ipswich. Hoop Cartwright sticks in the irons and certainly has the talent to take care of this field. ED I AM (11) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten 0.9 lengths, over 6 ¾f at Ipswich when returning from a break. Should camp just off the leaders and is sure to be thereabouts. FLOP SHOT (12) resumes here but showed enough when last in work to warrant consideration in a race like this. Can play a role while fresh. WATER LAD (14) has been very consistent of late and is a must for the multiples.
