OUR BRAVE LINI (11) brings compelling form from stronger metro and provincial Maidens. Was close-up at Ipswich two back and then didn't have the best of it at Doomben last time off a wide gate. Has an inside barrier today and is well-placed to win. ASTERN EFFORT (1) was better supported than the above at Doomben but settled back and didn't get warm. He was beaten less than 2L at Ipswich first up prior and two before that went close at Doomben. He can improve quickly in this company. MR DEMOCRAT (5) found more like his best placing at the Sunshine Coast over a mile. Drops back to a sprinting trip, but he runs along and is going well enough to feature. MISHANI COMRADE (4) will use the inside barrier and can build on placings at Dalby and the Gold Coast last time. Peaks and is sure to give a sight.
