Verdict

Race drops away outside the top few chances. Hard to fault WING NUT (3) who has been in top form winning his last two and in those wins has beaten a host of the runners lining up earlier in the card. This is tougher but drops in weight and back to the mile off the low draw will take catching. Biggest threat is WAY TO DIVINE (2) who is going well. Has a very honest record this trip and on a narrow loss last time looks a top chance to find winning form again. TOULON FACTOR (4) has been racing over further lately and is on a quick back-up after finishing third over 1 ¼m at Mudgee. Veteran galloper with good speed and should take running down. ORDER OF MERIT (7) tends to mix form but has a very good record at this track. Better than last start in tougher company and gets a chance to atone. TROPICANA'S CUBE (6) is fitter for two runs back and looks ready to fire now.
