The last three appearances of FOUR DEGREES (3) have been in stronger races than this over longer trips. The last time he contested a BM58 was four runs back when he was beaten first-up in a photo over 5 ½f at Armidale. Comes here off a 46-day let-up and is perfectly placed to return to winning ways. SHUT EYE (5) is going okay, beaten just 1.2 lengths at his latest outing over 7f at Gatton. This is his pet trip so from a lovely barrier he finds a winnable race. WINGED (1) clocked up yet another minor placing last start when beaten narrowly over 7f at Armidale. Genuine gelding equally at home over today's journey. Doesn't win often but worth each-way consideration. SKATES ON (6) returned in good order at Tuncurry last time and can build on that effort. OUR WARRIOR (8) won easily at Tuncurry last start, albeit on a heavy track. Still has room to improve at the third run back.
