SNATCHREILLY (1) won a Class 1 over this distance three back and has been sound in two subsequent runs. Went close two back at Armidale then had his chance at Gunnedah last start over this trip but didn't quicken as hoped. Drops 2kgs today and from a nice gate can turn things around. BROKEN WINGS (5) led but was overhauled in the closing stages when fresh from a 53-day break over 5 ¾f at the Beaumont track on Monday. Will take a lot from that run and drops back to her favoured trip. Big threat on the four-day backup. AMORUSO (6) was a month between runs when she showed pace but wilted late over 6f at Tamworth recently. Lightly raced mare whose only win and placing have come at 5f. Eligible for an easier race but should give a good account. SIGNATORIES (2) led for the judge but peaked on his run when resuming over 4 ½f at Scone last start. Perfectly drawn and drops sharply in the weights so expect more resistance today. AMARONE (3) can feature first-up from a 15-week spell.
