ZO FRILLING (7) raced at the rear of the field and wide so her failure first-up over 5 ½f at Scone should be overlooked. Form last prep was sound including a couple of minor placings at the provincials. Draws the inside marble which is a big tick. Only needs to be somewhere near her best to take care of these. SILENT SERENADE (8) contested the same race as Zo Frilling at Scone eight days ago and did a decent job to finish midfield. That was the first time she has missed the placings in five career runs. New to this trip but she was a bit one-paced last time so it might be the right move. MOON TREATY (2) was easily accounted for first-up at Tamworth when returning from a 14-month lay-off. Gets in well after the claim and should improve greatly with that run under the belt. LUCKY ON LANDING (1) resumes. Did nothing in the two runs of his maiden prep but is now a gelding so might improve. First starters POIRIER (4) and MAGIC MERLIN (3) should be monitored for betting support.
