Verdict

ASSOCIATE (3) boasts strong peaks and loves this track. Is a pretty versatile type that maps to blend into the race nicely. Bold showing anticipated. BELLEISTIC KIDS (2) doesn't win out of turn but rarely turns in a poor one. Ran well over this trip last week in the Gundagai Cup when fourth. Strips rock-hard fit and is drawn to be right there again. Have to take seriously. VILLASAURUS (4) warmed nicely late to finish sixth last time out over 7f in the Country Championships Final at Randwick. Excellent record here, though has only had the one attempt over this sort of trip without much luck. Will land out the back from his draw, so watch for her charging late. SOUTHERN DANCER (10) has built nicely into this campaign and should be hitting his straps now. Drops back slightly in trip off three weeks and is one of the key chances. SEA STRIKE (7) dug deep to hold them off here last time. Gets in well at the weights and only needs to hold his form to be right there again.
