THE PICCOLINO (11) in career best form and can return to form in this company from the good gate. Just over a month between runs when fifth over 5f at Taree. Best figures measure up nicely and assess on earlier runs. ALTERCATION (9) appreciated the firmer surface with a barnstorming win over 5f at Quirindi at the good each way price. Has a solid record over this course and trip and proven in all conditions. GRASSBURN (10) finished off strongly when beaten 1.1 lengths last time at Taree. Should be winding up late again.
