Open race to close out the card. HOT COCOA (12) is an honest commodity who has hit the top-five in all five outings the preparation and does boast a win around this circuit. Looks the runner in this field with the most upside and should be right there at the business end. BETTER BREAKOUT (2) may have suffered from the dreaded second-up syndrome last time out but the form prior was full of merit. Worth another chance. TSUNAMI (4) is a course and distance winner who gets some weight relief with the 4lbs claim. Sure to give backers a sight up on speed. FANCY GARTER (6) doesn't win out of turn but is never too far away and may trouble the judge with any luck in running. GO COMMANDO (3) next best despite the sticky draw.

Condition Book

A list of upcoming races issued by the racing secretary, where the conditions of races to be run over the next few weeks are written.

State-Bred

A horse bred in a particular state and thus eligible to race in restricted state-bred races. These can be anything from maiden races to stakes events.

Bobble/Stumble

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.
