BRITISH GEM (8) won two on end before finishing a game fourth in the rich Daintree at Cairns last time. Several horses that finished behind him are in earlier races today so will be a good guide to the strength of the form. Has a shocking draw to overcome but has the right form for this and will be running on hard. MR SUGAR DADDY (5) was safely held in the Guineas at Mackay then returned to form here last time. Best form is here at home and looks hard to hold out again. TWIN TURBO (6) has a senior rider aboard and looks a top chance to return to form. VOUCHERS (11) has also had an important jockey switch and is expected to go very well. EAGLE WARRIOR (1) has a poor record here but is aided by the claim and will run on late.
