The babies kick us off. It's hard to knock the form of ALBERTA BOUND (1) who has three wins and a second from just four starts to date and strikes a very winnable contest here. Draws low and can continue the rich vein of form. TAMBO'S SISTER (6) shed the maiden tag over this track and trip last time out and will have derived a stack of confidence from that breakthrough victory. Can go right on with the job now. ASK ME EDI (4) just ran into one better here on debut and will have taken some benefit from that day at the races. Top-three candidate with natural improvement. CARLANDO (2) looked good saluting at Cairns when facing the starter for the first time and winning hoop Thomas sticks in the saddle. In the mix. PERSEFONO (8) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be underestimated.
