Verdict

Tough race with the majority not really known for consistency. TIPPED OFF (2) doesn't win out of turn but has been going really well lately. Ran on hard to finish runner-up at Cairns then finished off strongly again last time there. Tricky gate but has a good record here and looks tough to stop. ZEMOREYA (7) has more upside than most and was off the mark with a maiden win here off a long spell. Will be even fitter and worth following up. AIRBORNE HOTDOG (1) was airborne leading up to last start but went more like a hotdog when he led and dropped right out at Cairns. Out of character and just missed here two back. Certainly worth another chance. LOOMING ONE (5) has a tricky gate but is close to a win and shapes as one of the key chances. FAKE (11) has drawn well and is sure to be thereabouts.
