SMALL TOWN HUSSLER (3) has had a few chances but has placed two of three over this track and trip and gets Wiggins on board from a favourable draw. Likely to play a role in the outcome. Former NSW galloper MO SPIRIT (5) hit the frame when having the first outing for the new stable and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Top-three candidate. ALVIN (2) has been thereabouts at the past couple and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be featuring in the finish. TRUSTING STAR (11) finished seventh last start over 6f at this track when he had to contend with an awkward barrier. Starts closer in this time. Look for an improved run.
