Has been freshened with a month between runs and can give this a big shake. EPIC PROPORTIONS (2) has mixed his form since joining the QLD ranks but boasts strong peaks. Maloney reuniting is a bonus. BRAVE MONARCH (1) is a talented gelding resuming for the Munce camp. Faces quite the task from barrier 15 under 132lbs but has plenty of X-factor. Not writing off. BLAZING HARRY (11) rises sharply from Benchmark grade but gets in a treat at the weights and is in red-hot touch. Thompson's booking signals confidence. LET'SFACETHEMUSIC (8) is as consistent as they come and boasts strong form references. Is sure to put his best foot forward again.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.

Also Eligible

A horse that is entered but does not draw into the body of the field due to too many entries, and thus is not permitted to start unless there are enough scratches to shrink the field size.

Track Bias

The term used to identify which parts of the track or running styles are producing more winners.
