Verdict

MARINERA (9) was a beaten favourite when finishing runner-up twice in the autumn prior to having a spell that did her the world of good judging by her tough win fresh up at Warren 5 weeks ago. She skips a couple of grade for this, but will drop 4lbs, and she has the scope to win again. ENNIROC (2) won at this level at Grafton in early June, and her next 3 starts have all had merit. Stick with her for all combos. MAXANDUS (5) was less than a length from the winner in fifth as the favourite here 2 months ago. Don't risk him in this. HANEY (7) has continued to improve with racing, and got the job done at Moree last start when scoring by 4 lengths. Stick with him, especially with the aid of a 9lbs claims. MISS MERCY (8) has raced her way back into form, and she is always a top 4 threat on this track at this level.
