MINERS MATE (13) has been near enough in 2 of his 3 starts this prep, and he seems to prefer it when the tracks are wet. He tries 6f for the first time, and if he can see the trip out, then he is capable of another top 3 finish. MONGOLIAN MASTER (4) still has some maturing to do after racing greenly fresh up at Gunnedah 11 days ago when well in the market. The blinkers going on for the first time will help, and he can take this out. FIOGGIA (12) was not far away on debut, and then improved sharply to finish second at Quirindi 3 weeks ago over 5 ½f. The extra ½f will suit him, and if he has any luck from a wide draw, he can go one better. HIGHLAND DANCER (8) has yet to miss a top 3 spot, and her fresh up effort for third at Quirindi was sound. Stick with her. THE LAST ROMANOV (6) will be peaking third up from a spell, and he is well worth including in all top 4 combos.
