BONCAPO (1) carried 134lbs when winning at Dubbo just over 2 weeks ago, and in a race that is not that much tougher, he will drop 3lbs thanks to a claim. As long as the track has the fire out of it, then he can win again. SANBINA (7) has continued to hold her form, and is still in her first prep, so she is well prepared this deep into her initial campaign. She has a good gate, and is good enough to take this out. PROPER TWELVE (2) only battled on heavy ground at Dubbo last start when racing outside the leader, and a slightly firmer surface would suit him. Stepping up to 1m should suit him, and he is worth another chance. ALMANZAS (3) has hit his straps since joining the Stirling Osland stable an racing in the country has made a big difference to his form. He is chasing a hat-trick, and can take the nest step in this. GRANDE DIABLO (5) was happy to be back on a good surface when winning his penultimate start, and then finished third on a heavy track at Dubbo. Stick with him.
