Open race to close out the card. SMUDGED (5) resumes here but the form she showed in her first preparation was good enough for a race of this nature. Is one from one when first-up and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Goes on top. SAILOR'S RUM (1) is first-up here but has won when fresh before and any push in betting must be respected. SIR MAURICE (2) has gotten better with each run this time in and gets some weight relief with the 4lbs claim. In the mix. SUPERSONIC MAN (4) couldn't repeat the dose last start after a good win at Murwillumbah two back. Should relish the soft conditions here and he can be in the finish.
