TOMMY TIE (5) has yet to transfer his good trial form to the races, but he did run his best race to date when finishing third at Eagle Farm just over 2 weeks ago when fresh up from a spell. He slides down in class, and is ready to win. IT'SALL ABOUT MARY (9) resumes from a spell, and she looked in top condition when winning a recent trial in the inner course here. A wide gate is against her, but she will still be ready to rumble. MYNEMESIS (10) makes her debut from the powerful Munce stable, and if not too green, she can make a positive start to her career. Check the market moves. DIAMOND DRUNK (6) makes her debut with a couple of trials under her belt, and she will be aided by a very handy gate. Use the market as your best guide. EMBER ROYALE (7) is also on debut, and she was a very impressive winner of her only public trial. Don't risk her.

A wager involving choosing the first, second, third, and fourth horses in one race in the exact order. A superfecta box involves paying more to ensure they can finish in any order in the top four spots.

Scratch

A horse is a scratch when injury or other necessity causes it to be withdrawn from the race.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.
