FORGOTTEN SPIRIT (5) got the maiden win out of the way at Eagle Farm last time out and will have derived a bunch of confidence from that breakthrough victory. Has placed around this circuit and maps ideally for this sprint journey from gate four. Rates the testing material. FOREIGN PRESS (2) hasn't done much wrong this campaign with three wins and two seconds from just five starts. Tuned up for this with a recent trial win and should be going very close again. SEVEER (9) resumes here but the form he showed in his first preparation was good enough to be competitive in a race of this calibre. Can run a big race while fresh. SHADWELL LANE (15) is another first-up but gets in on the minimum weight and a strong showing would not surprise. CHAMPAGNE LANE (11) strips fitter third-up from the break and may earn some minor money.
