Revved up for this with a recent trial and a strong showing while fresh would not surprise. BLAKEMORE AVENUE (5) has put back-to-back victories together and it's hard to knock mares in form. Has to be included. LE CHOCOLAT (4) strips fitter third-up from the break and gets some weight off with the 4lbs claim. Top-three commodity. AMORE VELOCE (2) is a two-time winner of this course and distance and will be at peak fitness for this. In the mix. DOWNEY (1) has strung two Toowoomba wins together and shouldn't be underestimated.
