SHADWELL LANE (8) resumes as the horse to beat after showing enough in stronger races last campaign. The Deagon trial win supports her readiness, while the Jack Bruce and Ben Thompson combination adds further confidence. TERRAX (3) didn't give his rivals a sniff here fresh when leading pillar-to-post. Less effective when tackling tougher company at Eagle Farm but will find this a bit easier and with added fitness he will prove tougher to run down. CYBER CITY (4) returns is another that will be able to inject plenty of speed into the race with an inside draw to help. Is yet to strike fresh but has proven handy on his day, so is worth keeping in mind. IT'S KAOS (14) has been freshened with 43 days after a poor run at the Gold Coast. Has been kept up to the mark with a tickover trial and gets in at a featherweight with the 7lbs claimer sticking. VANZADEE (13) resumes and looks best of the rest.
