PIERATA'S GEM (15) has contested a couple of rich races recently and been far from disgraced. Battled on gamely to be beaten just two lengths by subsequent winner Poster Girl over 6 ½f at the Gold Coast a fortnight ago. Shame about the wide draw but with luck she can still get away with this. It's becoming obvious that BLUEPINOT (12) is a wet tracker. Scored a game win in soft going at Eagle Farm two back then failed in a Magic Millions race at the Gold Coast subsequently. Keep tabs on track conditions closer to post time. KADALL (10) was a little disappointing in the run home over this trip at Eagle Farm recently. Has a very good third-up record so with luck from the awful gate he can play a big role. SULTRY SIREN (11) has been strong through the line in her two runs this prep, both over 6f. Draws a better alley this time and her 7f form reads well. Ready to find some form. Track specialist FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (5) can bounce back in this easier race with the help of gate one.
