HEARTONI (4) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished eighth when fresh from a spell two starts back at Eagle Farm then improved and scored over 5 ¼f at Rockhampton three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.6 lengths after being prominent at the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. CLICK CLICK BOOM (11) was in the money two starts back at Ipswich but was unable to repeat the effort last time when seventh, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Doomben over 6f after being in contention on the turn. This easier and has the talent to take this out. THELWELL (9) ran a strong race last time out over 6f at Doomben, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. TECTONIC PLATE (3) resumed last time out and finished 12th over 5 ½f at Doomben, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has a win and five placings at this journey from nine starts and rates a major player.
