Verdict

A good contest. SIRKEL (8) was backed off the map this track/trip beaten a whisker. Brought strong form from Doomben and should hit this contest at peak. Maps well enough and can go one better. CARPACCIO (2) resumed further improved wining a CL1 comfortably at Ipswich as expected. Maps for a soft run and has a handy 4lbs claim. Has placed 3/3 second up and deserves consideration. PARIAH ENGAGEMENT (12) was plain at Wyong, but her 64 win at Gosford prior stacks up. Has the blinkers on again and can't be ruled out. LONE ARTIST (5) sets up nicely for this third-up off the back of two solid return efforts. Don't dismiss lightly.
