Verdict

MOROCCAN WIND (1) has continued to mix his form, and he was a strong runner-up over 5f at this track last start. He will find this company a tad easier, and he looks ideally placed to go one better this time. SHAHAR (5) resumed in encouraging fashion when finishing just a length and a half from the winner at Toowoomba 15 days ago. She will strip fitter for that outing and is expected to take plenty of improvement into this assignment, making her hard to hold out. RIVA D'AMOR (4) fought on gamely to finish less than a length from the winner at Ipswich last time out. Another repeat of that effort would see her right in the finish once again. ELEGANT LUCY (9) appeals as the value runner in an open contest and is capable of figuring in the top 4. ZOUSLAYER (2) has had some excuses lately, and will be dropping right back in trip for this. He has the ability to be competitive, and is worth one more chance in this field.
