The well-related SHAKO (12) (half to G2 winner Arcaded) is a very consistent conveyance who has remarkably never missed the top-four in 17 starts to date and doesn't know how to ran a bad race. Loves this track and trip and gets Thompson in the stirrups. Should be right there at the business end. WONDEREACH (6) resumes here but has a solid first-up record with two wins and two placings from six attempts. Can run a big race while fresh. THELWELL (7) is a four-time winner over this course and distance and will be high on confidence following that last-start Gold Coast victory. Can go right on with the job now. MAXIMUM OUTPUT (2) strips fitter third-up from the break and gets some weight off with the 7lbs claim. In the mix on best figures. KRAKARIB (8) rounds out the selections.
