BELLE AFFAIR (7) was an easy winner here first-up and then ran along again when narrowly beaten at the track. Has a wide gate to contend with but she rates strongly and the blinkers go on again. EXPRESS BARBIE (9) resumes and has switched from a leading Victorian stable. Was last seen easily winning a Maiden at Pakenham synthetic from the front heavily supported. Has an awkward gate but has trialled sharply and a bold return is on the cards, EXCELBOOM (11) was backed and turned the form around winning a Gatton Maiden on-pace. Is still well shy of his best and may have turned the corner. Jones goes aboard and she can use the low barrier to her advantage. JAGGERY (4) resumes and deserves a betting watch.
