AU - Sunshine Coast - Race 6

Open race with many of them overdue. ITALIAN RIVIERA (1) is fitter for two runs back and will find this far easier than the city level last time on the Gold Coast. Goes well at this circuit and looks well placed to fire. ORIENTE (4) finished fourth last time out over 6f on turf here. First try on synthetic but fitter, draws the fence and rates a top chance on best figures. NIGHTSTICK (3) wound up strongly to place at Rockhampton when resuming from a spell and will be fitter for it. Has a great record this course and distance and looks a leading chance. INCA TRAIL (5) really dug deep to get the prize by 0.7 lengths three runs back at Rockhampton before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should be prominent from the outset. Must be respected. DENETTA (7) has been freshened and is back in trip but is well weighted with the claim.
