Verdict

A good contest. SIRKEL (8) was backed off the map this track/trip beaten a whisker. Brought strong form from Doomben and should hit this contest at peak. Maps well enough and can go one better. RUINS OF ROME (1) is coming along nicely and is sure to build on his CL1 win here second-up. He's run some big races in stronger classes and is feared. CARPACCIO (2) resumed further improved wining a CL1 comfortably at Ipswich as expected. Maps for a soft run and has a handy 4lbs claim. Has placed 3/3 second up and deserves consideration. PARIAH ENGAGEMENT (12) was plain at Wyong, but her 64 win at Gosford prior stacks up. Has the blinkers on again and can't be ruled out. WILD GYPSY (7) switched to the Gollan barn and needed the first-up outing. She has good ability and quick improvement won't surprise.
