Verdict

JUNGLE FEVER (1) turned in an eye-catching run last start over 5f at this track, winding up hard from well back on straightening to finish a close second. Has a terrific record here with two wins and four minor placings from six starts. Hard to beat and deserves a win. EVERYBODY RISE (4) was finally off the mark with a maiden win here last time when resuming from a spell over 5f. Fitter again and reunites with Taylor Marshall who was on board last start. Honest overall and can make it back-to-back wins. A TOUCH FROM FAYT (10) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished 7 lengths back in fifth on turf over 5 ½f at Ipswich most recently. Sure to be tougher to beat this time. MARATHIA (6) has been in the placings her past two starts, finishing second over 5 ¼f at Gold Coast Poly last time out. Worth including again. FITZROY STREET (8) just missed fresh and can only be improved.
