Verdict

Tricky race to assess with a few of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade DO A LITTLE DANCE (7) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four in all three starts to date and has race experience over a lot of these. Has placed over this track and trip and Cartwright sticks in the irons. Should prove very hard to hold out. KAVA EXPRESS (16) resumes here but showed ability in both runs before the spell and gets the reliable Vandyke/Maloney combination. Tuned up for this with a recent trial and can run a race while fresh. AURORA BLAZE (11) is on debut but has shown ability at the trials and trust that Heatchote has her up to the mark. Keep very safe. HELLS REIN (9) was okay here on debut before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Can play a role despite the sticky draw. MISS KIT KAT (12) next best.
