Verdict

DEMARCATE (3) is first-up from a four-month spell and has transferred from the Hayes boys to Jane Clement. Beaten just 2.1 lengths in a BM62 at Cranbourne when fresh from a spell last prep. Best form puts him right in contention. LORD REMLAP (5) started at $1.65 and got the cash on debut last time out over 5f at this track. Subsequent trial winner who certainly looks good enough to go to this next level. BIVACCO (1) bolted in two back at Canberra then copped a check at the 1 ½f mark and didn't recover at Goulburn more recently. Handy type who can make amends. TRUCE (11) found 4 ½f a bit sharp when first-up at Newcastle last start. Placed at this track when second-up last prep. Well in after Small's claim so has a few things in her favour. ST FAITH'S (8) is another with solid claims dropping back from a couple of runs at provincial level.
