ASTOUND BEAUTY (5) resumes after finishing runner-up at her last two starts at Goulburn on rain affected tracks. Fitted with the two solid trials and maps to get the gun run. Ready to get off the mark. LEOVANNI (6) progressive mare who finds an easier contest after she rocketed late when fifth over 6 ½f at this track in a Super Maiden. Only has to jump well to play a leading role. SERIOUS JEWEL (10) snagged back from the gate on debut and found the 5 ½f too sharp when he chipped away late to finish sixth over 5 ½f at this track. Has further upside with the blinkers going on. HAILSTONES (8) is a superbly bred two-year-old gelding by Noverre from the former top race mare Cool Storm on debut for the Archibald yard. Trials have been average and look for a better effort under race conditions.
