Verdict

BEAUTY SWIFT (10) went back from a wide draw then made good late inroads without threatening when fresh from a spell over 7 ½f at Newcastle last start. Showed nice progress at the same stage last prep to win a Nowra maiden in impressive style. Looks the testing material. SHUTTER (2) has been a bit hot and cold lately but this race looks to be right in her wheelhouse. Best recent form reference was a barnstorming win over the mile at Taree two back under 60kgs. The winner of two from three at this track so a big run seems likely. HAMMOON SENSATION (7) led for home but found a couple better late on when resuming over 7f at this track recently. New to this trip but is lightly raced and did score over the mile when last in work. NGUNNAWAL (4) found 1 5/16m at Gosford beyond him last start but he gets his chance in this more suitable assignment. Consistent mare INSTEAD (1) ran a big race in a BM82 at Orange last start which is strong form for a race at this level.
