CASINO SHAW (11) ticks plenty of boxes today and looks the one to beat at start seven. Sat on the good tempo from the wide gate when a gritty second over 6f at this track. Kept fresh and she gets a much better set-up today. YOU COUNT (10) struck trouble at the start and got further back than expected when a poor eighth over 5 ½f at Nowra. Only has to jump cleanly to figure prominently. SETTA ICON (1) resumes from a lengthy break. Outclassed when eighth over 5f at Kembla Grange on June 20, 2024. Fitted with the two slick trials and can overcome the sticky draw. EMPRESS IRENE (13) started hard in the market at her second career start when a plugging fifth over 5 ½f at Nowra. Can race a little closer from the inside gate and play a leading role.
