Verdict

FEARN TRICK (11) with a pull in the weights gets the nod. Scored first-up at Scone then raced on the pace throughout and wouldn't lie down over 7 ¾f at Canterbury last time, eventually beaten under a length. Will go around at generous odds and is worth a throw at the stumps. LITTLE IRIS (6) tried hard but couldn't quite match a smart one in Decorum over 7f at Warwick Farm three weeks ago. Bred to want a bit more ground and at just her third race start appeals as a filly with tremendous upside. SOVERATO (7) came with a well-timed run to easily get the cash first-up over 7 ¾f at Canterbury recently. Like McDonald getting on - big chance to go back-to-back. SAMARELLE (3) was a shade disappointing first-up at Warwick Farm but the SP that day tells us she has more to offer. AISLE TWO (4) is flying this prep and cannot be left out of calculations.

Second run back. First-up after three months raced right near the speed and boxed on, won by 1.2 len at Canterbury Bm64 February 13 over 7 ¾f defeating Throttle Response carrying 118lbs at $3.10. Previously second-up won by a nose at Kembla Grange Super Mdn November 15 over 7 ½f defeating Lady Yarrow with 122lbs at $1.55. Hard to tip against her on that sort of form. Strong through the line that evening and should kick in second-up.
