Backed up quickly from the wide draw with a game on speed second over 5 ½f at Randwick. Will take catching in a winnable contest. ANNIE'S ROSE (11) surprised first up when defeating Kimberley Secrets over this track and trip. Went back from the sticky gate second up and had a chequered run in the straight when seventh over 6f at Randwick. Should get the right tempo to charge late. Each way. MERCY ME (15) stakes placed mare resuming. Looks to have developed further after the break with the two sharp trials. Leading contender. WOOTTON LASS (8) stakes-placed mare resuming. Recent trial winner and stays in the mix. FARNICLE (1) gelding resuming after placing in the Sires' Produce (7f) at Eagle Farm last May. Trialled well and sure to be thereabouts.
