Verdict

SARAQAEL (1) is racing well, scoring comfortably two back here over this distance before coming back finishing 2 lengths from the winner in Open grade over 5 ½f. Draws awkwardly but is well-placed to bounce back. KOHLER KID (3) resumes and has placed 2/2 fresh. He was an easy Maiden winner over 7f at Eagle Farm two back and has plenty of scope for improvement. Stanley is a positive jockey engagement, and he's capable of using the inside barrier. SWEET PRETENDER (8) resumed at Doomben at long odds and didn't have the best of it. Her best form would have her right in the finish, and she has a low gate and weight, and the blinkers are on for the first time. Fitter and no surprise to see her race well. WAYNO (12) won an Open 3 here over 5 ½f and has won a trial at the track since. Steps up to 6 ½f for the first time and stays down in the weights. In the mix with a good ride. KOBAYASTAR (2) has been busting to win at Townsville and will be around the mark.
