Verdict

SMART MISSION (2) was well fancied here first up and proved too strong over 6 ½f at 60 level. He's been improved by the Clinton Taylor yard and Cormack stays aboard. Fitter for that hitout and is the one they have to beat. INCA TRAIL (1) resumed in stronger class at Eagle Farm and it wasn't a bad effort. Has had a solid Doomben trial since, and the longer sprint suits. Has more to give, an inside gate and a handy 7lbs claim. LADY ZAYDI (6) came from last beaten 2L over 6f at Eagle Farm and had been going well in the country prior. Gets in well with the 4lbs claim but will be giving them a start again. TRUSTY BANDIT (8) won well over this trip at Dalby. This is tougher, but he tumbles in weight and should be around the mark.
