Verdict

Just a field of three which will suit the racing pattern of JUNGLE RHYTHM (2) in the opener. Scored convincingly first-up over 5 ½f here then couldn't get involved against some smart types in town last start. Should be very tough to hold out this time. AVGAS (4) overcame a tardy start to get up for second on debut recently over 5 ½f at Mackay. Nicely placed over an extra ½f today and can go one better without surprising. DOUBTWILLY (3) started at big odds and ran accordingly first-up at Doomben a fortnight ago. Strips fitter and with little pressure here could give them something to catch.
