Toughest race of the day. PINHOLE (3) imported stayer improving with racing. Closed strongly from back in the field with a respectable fourth to Tazima in a strong rating contest over 1 ¼m at Randwick in BM88 grade. Will be winding up strongly with Rawiller aboard. CASUAL CONNECTION (1) back in grade and progressed nicely when he loomed strongly for a narrow second over 1 ½m at Randwick in BM78 grade. Grima sticks and he has genuine each-way claims. SO SUAVE (8) improved sharply in the heavy conditions with a commanding victory as fav over 1 5/16m at Warwick Farm in BM72 class. Bred to get the trip and likely to play a leading role. CENTENARIO (4) shouldered the 132lbs with a fighting on-pace fourth second-up in the heavy going over 1 5/16m at Warwick Farm.
